Biography

Senior Prof. Vijith S. Jayamanne is a Senior Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. He holds B.Sc. Agriculture, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees, along with CBiol and FIBiol professional credentials. His research focuses on Food Microbiology, Food Safety, Food Processing, Food Quality Control, Probiotics, Dairy Technology, and Food Biochemistry. He has extensive teaching and research experience and has contributed to research and publications in food science and technology.
